This is a 4-6 month contract and you must be present at our San Francisco office (HQ) every week from Tuesday through Thursday.
The Impact You'll Make
We strive to give every employee and candidate a genuine, transparent and neighborly experience. As a Recruiting Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract) you are the glue that holds the recruiting process together: from coordinating schedules, managing the interview experience, to interfacing with recruiters, candidates and hiring managers. You are a true team player with a high attention to detail and are able to multitask and problem solve on the fly.
Your Responsibilities will Include:
• Own recruiting logistics: schedule interviews and meetings, both internal and external
• Work with candidates and ensure the interview experience is seamless and runs on time
• Prepare interview materials and weekly recruiting metrics
• Become an expert on our ATS, Greenhouse and our scheduling tool, ModernLoop
• Build and maintain collaborative, trusting relationships with candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, and other internal stakeholders
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve process/efficiency, employment branding, and candidate experience
• Participate in in-person Nextdoor events, trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and other team building exercises
• Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to the KIND culture that Nextdoor values
What You'll Bring To The Team
• 6 months+ experience within Recruiting or People Operations
• Efficiency-minded: learn quickly and have a passion for process-improvement
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills: written, oral, in-person and on the phone
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, and great at building relationships with different types of people
• Proficiency with Google Apps (Calendar, Docs, Mail, etc.)
• Passion for the Nextdoor mission and vision
Bonus Points
• Experience with Greenhouse ATS is a plus
Rewards
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The starting salary for this Fixed Term Contract role is expected to range from $38.94 to $42.27 an hour. Compensation may also vary by geography. Duration of the contract is expected to go until December 31st, 2024.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. Nextdoor Fixed Term Contract employees can choose between a variety of great health plans.
